Desenex Ointment

Description

Desenex Ointment is a medicated ointment that can be used for prophylaxis and treatment of mycotic superficial dermatophytoses of feet and the relief of itching and scaling produced by these fungal infections. Is it also used to remove foot odour and prevent sweating.

Dosage

Wash and dry the feet thoroughly before use of this medication.

Apply a smooth even coating of ointment to affected areas of the feet twice a day as required or use as directed by the physician. Ensure the ointment is spread evenly and thoroughly across the affected area(s) and use for at least two weeks after the symptoms have disappeared. 

If symptoms do not improve or worsen within 2 weeks of initiation of treatment, please consult your doctor.

To prevent reinfection in the future, use Desenex Powder daily as needed.

• Do not use on broken or infected skin unless directed by your doctor.

• If symptoms persist or worsen, please stop this medication and consult with your doctor immediately
